The Job:
1 Liaise with external clients across borders and timeline to determine scope of work required and the agreed timeline
2 Coordinate with internal contacts on work requirements
3 Organise workflow and monitor its execution, including QC.
4 Prepare reports, documentation, invoices and billings for work completed
5 Recruit, qualify and maintain a suitable pool of translators to handle the required projects
6 Develop strategy, plan and execute to further develop and grow the translation business sector

The Person:
1 University degree and 3-4 years managerial experience,preferably in the translation industry
2 Have a track record in English / Mandarin or English / Japanese document translation and managing a group of translators
3 Adaptable to changes in work hours to suit project requirements across borders and timeline.
4 Strong command of the spoken / written English / Mandarin and/or English/Japanese
5 Possess good presentation.
6 Strong organization, coordination and communications skills
7 Other key attributes include commitment, flexibility, good interpersonal skills.
8 You are also familiar with MS Office software and enjoy work in a fast-paced environment.
