Scope of duties

Responsible for cargo part of flight operations and supervision of handling agent activities. Takes reservations and finalizes all bookings and data for customs and handling agent(s) for all shipments. Ensures proper acceptance and buildup of cargo for safety and optimization of cargo load on each flight. Work is early morning shift as flight is planned for morning.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Operations Supervision Make last minute bookings and finalise booking list and cargo disposition planning Load planning and give disposition to GHA within the agreed time frame Coordination with load planning in Bangkok Updating of ULDs movement in company system Supervise GHAs on build-up according to operational requirements and proper manifesting for loadability and safety Coordinate loading/unloading of cargo and baggage at ramp to optimize capacity and manage any offload/standby cargo Ensure all AWB’s are captured in company system and all booking are updated with correct data , with close attention to FHL data for Customs and Security department or alert to Captain with NOTOC info Responsible to oversee the handling agent and to ensure adherence to contract and conduct monthly meetings with them with respect to the KPI for quality Contribute to achieve on time departure with Station Manager Coordinate with ground handling agent on mail handling and optimization Daily traffic statistics Supervise loading/unloading of special cargo , in particular Valuables and temperature sensitive cargo as per company regulations Local expert and advocate of proper messaging between all parties and advancing e-freight initiatives Key contact/ Representative to airport or airline operational liaison groups related to local affairs Fully trained for Dangerous good at highest Category 6 level, and conduct awareness training to all local staff

Competences

Competencies / powers :

Part responsibility for timely departure of flight for cargo on load and full responsibility for optimization of cargo space at aircraft side.

Reports to Cargo Manager

Quality accountability :

On time performance for cargo, correct data on all shipments, all messaging is transmitted to necessary parties on time

Requirements in terms of education / professional experience / language skills

Basic education/training : Secondary School or post secondary education, or equivalent work experience

Further education/training	Dangerous good training to highest level , Category 6 Iata qualified course (plus)

Professional experience :	Airline Cargo experience preferable

Languages :	Mandarin, English and preference for Shanghainese

Other skills	– can work independently with minimum supervision
