Essential Responsibilities:

• Partnership – Work closely and build great partnership with Sourcing teams of EMEA countries. Ultimate goal is to be seen as ONE TEAM – rather than separate Sourcing and Merchandising team
• Support Sourcing Strategy – Understand Sourcing Strategy of the EMEA countries in order to provide Best in Class supply chain solutions and order executions
• Controlling – Tracking performance, assuring the effectiveness of services, and analyzing operational efficiency
• Consulting – Provide solutions on supply chain issues, consult and inform Sourcing teams and Retail partners
• Supplier Evaluation – Evaluate supplier performance, team up with Sourcing Teams to conduct Top 2 Top meetings

Requirements:

• Experience in Sourcing, Merchandising, or Replenishment in home, seasonal, entertain, or hardlines categories
• Familiar with Asda or WM Canada business and process
• A strong communicator and presence
• Able to work under pressure and take ownership
• Excellent problem solving skills
• A team player who can also manage work independently
• A self-starter with high sense of urgency
• Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel & Power Point, and e-mail
