Product COORDINATOR
Foreside, a growing and dynamic US wholesale company of decorative items for the home and garden, is searching for an energetic, professional, and dedicated Product Coordinator. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills. The Product Coordinator will assist with developing new samples, managing samples for photography and US tradeshows, and execution of purchase orders. Please note: there is a manual work portion for this position.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor degree in related discipline or four years relevant working experience
2) At least two years working experience in Furniture, Home Décor or Gift export business or related industry.
3) Good written and spoken communication skills both in English and Mandarin
4) Excellent computer skills, especially excel
5) Excellent attention to details and to dates
6) Positive, hard-worker, good team player
Job Description:
1) Assist with Product Development, Samples and Production processes
a. -Manage vendors to develop quality samples
b. -Ensure production timing of both samples and stock
c. -Ensure quality packing standards
2) Data entry and maintenance of all sample and product information.
3) Check and pack samples for US tradeshows
4) Follow up on orders to ensure timeliness of shipments
5) Communicate with USA office regarding all vendor related issues and information
6) Work with QC dept on sample specification to ensure quality mass production
7) Oversee sample delivery to US and photographer
8) Inspect sample labels for accuracy
9) Manage product labels and hang tags
10) Assist on all photo shoots; keep photographer on schedule and on budget
11) Assist in proofing upcoming catalogs
