Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Specialist, also known as the Compliance PIC (Person-in-Charge), to ensure that the operations and business transactions adhere to internal policies, guidelines, and relevant international & local laws and regulations. As a Compliance PIC, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of compliance within our organization and maintaining our commitment to ethical business practices.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Familiarize with the requirements of relevant compliance policies and guidelines.
2. Assess the risk exposure for key compliance topics and ensure that these risks are adequately addressed in the day-to-day business operations, in accordance with the relevant compliance policies and guidelines.
3. Maintain effective communication channels with various business units to address compliance-related concerns and provide guidance.
4. Monitor the implementation of countermeasures for detected compliance violations and ensure their effectiveness.
5. Identify and communicate new or potential compliance risks to the Country /Compliance Officer, enabling proactive risk mitigation measures.
6. Implement an annual "tone from the top" message to promote and reinforce a strong compliance culture within the organization.
7. Organise periodic compliance refresher training sessions to enhance employees' understanding of compliance policies and guidelines.
8. Prepare and submit quarterly progress reports to the Country Compliance Officer, highlighting key compliance initiatives, incidents, and the effectiveness of implemented measures.
9. Escalation of Internal Hotline Reports:
a) Take a leading role in handling compliance incidents related to violations
of departmental policies, or at least be involved in the communication
loop of the concerned department if they are proactively managing the
incident.
b) Be responsible for promptly reporting all Internal Hotline incidents to the
Country Compliance Officer in the first instance.
c) Depending on the severity and magnitude of the reported incident, which
will be assessed by the Country Compliance Officer and RHQ Legal,
GHQ Legal may be involved in the subsequent investigation process.

Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Law, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of relevant compliance policies, guidelines, and international & local laws and regulations.
4. High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
5. Ability to take a proactive approach in identifying compliance issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
6. Prior experience in conducting compliance training sessions is preferred.
7. Professional certifications in compliance or related fields are a plus.
