Reporting to the Asia Sr. Compliance Manager, the Compliance Specialist will manage the compliance activities and efforts in China to ensure adherence with Cybersecurity, Data Security and Export Control laws, improve operational efficiency, as well as providing support to all Compliance related activities as required.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements including but not limited to Cybersecurity, Data Security and Export Control regulations in China, US and other regions.
Work with Product Management, Engineering and other departments to ensure all controlled items are properly documented and classified.
Assist the APAC Global Trade Compliance Operations Manager to prepare and assist compliance projects, audits, trainings and other compliance related activities, and release reports as required
Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Manage/generate licenses/authorization with Cybersecurity, Data Security, export control regulators, and other agencies, as required

Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business/Administration, Engineering, International Trade, Science, Administration, Manufacturing
Understanding and/or experience with classification, compliance laws and regulations, such as Export Control Laws, Cybersecurity, Data Security Law, Export Control regulations is a plus
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Attention to details and demonstrate initiative/independence when resolving routine or more complex problem
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
