We are looking for a driven and experienced marketer to lead strategic marketing for our analytical services business units. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated strategic marketing plans for Cytel’s software, biometrics, consulting and real-world evidence offerings. Understanding drivers of success and areas of opportunity within those marketing plans is critical leveraging a data-based, analytical approach focused on driving commercial value and propelling customers through each stage of the sales funnel. This role partners heavily with the business unit leads, the sales team and other functions within the marketing team. You will report directly to the VP, Asia Pacific and dotted-line report to the VP, Marketing.

Your contributions include:
? Creating cross-channel, integrated, “always-on” strategic marketing plans for the business units noted above.
? Ownership of key channels in Asia Pacific, in particular for China, and responsible for management of relevant industry events/conferences.
? Defining buyer personas/target audience profiles, working with marketing analytics to understand those buyer/persona journeys.
? In collaboration with the content marketing group, creating thought leadership platforms and content (ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, etc.), for Asia Pacific market, in particular China, to help drive brand awareness and perception shifts.
? In collaboration with the creative team, supporting sales enablement activities that help bring to life relevant, customer-facing materials for our sales team.
? Working with business owners and marketing analytics to identify KPIs/success metrics, assess effectiveness, shape “what good looks like,” and prioritize those campaigns and/or channels that drive commercial value and a strong ROI.
? Influencing internal stakeholders to help Cytel develop a storytelling, customer benefits-driven culture.

What we need from you:
? BA/BS, MBA a plus.
? 5 - 10 years of marketing experience.
? Experience with B2B marketing in life sciences a plus.
? Excellent written and verbal English and Mandarin communication skills.
? Ability and openness to work cooperatively in a team environment and communicate throughout the organization within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
? Experience managing and working with geographically dispersed teams.
