Key responsibilities:

1. Cooperate with international partners and senior Chinese lawyers on major cases for Foreign Direct Investment (M&A, Greenfield set-up, corporate restructuring & liquidations) and for dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration);

2. Support on daily legal advisory support to international clients in R&P's core practice areas (corporate, commercial, compliance, intellectual property, employment, litigation / arbitration);

3. End-responsibility for legal documents drafting, reviewing and review of translation work;

4. Other work as assigned.

Requirements / Preferred Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years working experience supporting international clients;

2. Ability to read, interpret, draft, modify and review legal documents in Chinese and English;

3. Capable to work with independently and take responsibility of a task;

4. Good team worker;

5. Eager to learn and take on tasks;

6. LLB or LLM;

7. Fluent in both spoken and written English;

8. Chinese Bar qualification.

R&P China Lawyers is a young, fast-developing boutique law firm, with offices in Beijing and Shanghai, providing a comprehensive range of legal services to mainly foreign- and foreign-invested companies in China. We are now looking for lawyers to expand our team of about 35 professionals.
