Senior Account Manager – Shanghai
Job Summary
To support growth, Kiwa PCS is seeking a Senior Account Manager to take ownership and responsibility for maintaining and growing existing key accounts whilst supporting the growth of prospective accounts entering the business. This role, in collaboration with other regional teams, will also focus on an ability to develop new business opportunities whilst also leading the Account Management team to success.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing in the UK, your daily tasks will consist of the following components:
- Contribute to business development strategies for Kiwa PCS and oversee their regional deployment
- Ensure Account Managers are supported through receiving regular one-to-one meetings and meaningful appraisals with SMART objectives
- Mentor, monitor, motivate and aid in the development of colleagues through offering support and guidance
- Have strong client negotiation skills
- Ensure Kiwa PCS metrics are met with regards to sales and growth targets
- Prepare, issue and proactively track key account and prospect quotations and monitoring projects to remain competitive within the industry
- Maintain corporate insight of accounts managed
- Monitor and understand regional trends and industry developments, reporting to Kiwa PCS Senior Management
- Identify potential new services and report to Kiwa PCS Senior Management
- Mitigate commercial risk to at the contract negotiation stage.
- Maintain open channels of communication with all stakeholders Contribute to relevant company marketing efforts, such as webinars, newsletter, online promotional content through LinkedIn.
Do you have what is takes?
- Exceptional experience in driving account growth, and opening new opportunities
- Proven track record leading a sales team
- Client negotiation skills and experience of managing customers’ expectations
- Experience and/or understanding of international Type Approval and Certification schemes
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to engage and influence colleagues at all levels to achieve common goals and objectives
- Planning and Organizational Skills
- The ability to work cohesively with all stakeholders (internal & external) for a mutual outcome
- Dynamism for problem solving and teamwork
- Aptitude for accuracy
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, when needed
- Have excellent command of English language, both written and spoken. An additional language beyond English is advantageous but not essential.
