Job Responsibilities
？ Act as the main point of material trends and new material research provider
？ Build up Plush material swatches library in SH & GZ and share to US team in monthly basics
？ Connect with new Plush suppliers and look for comp/OTS sample for design selection
？ Initiate Plush product trends report and share with US team
？ Communicate closely with the US Product Development Team, contract manufacturers, material and component suppliers, and internal stakeholder ensure production schedule and turnaround timeframe are on time
？ Monitor the entire product cycle from conceptual stage to first order completion
？ Work with the Industrial Design and Product Development Teams in the US on new product feasibility from design, manufacturing, functional feasibility, and budgeting
？ Ensure new product is in accordance with global standards in terms of safety and reliability
？ Compile the RFQ, review costing BOM, and perform timeline scheduling and tracking of critical milestones and key release dates
？ Create product specifications and production turnover package
？ Oversee the development of product prototypes and testing to assess all possible failures
？ Provide recommendations on the best manufacturing methods and processes to ensure on time production and cost efficiency



Job Requirements

？ Higher Diploma in Textile Technology or Fashion and Clothing engineering or related field
？ Minimum 8 years relevant experiences with plush toys design and manufacturing experiences is preferred
？ Proficient in Adobe Illustrators or Photoshops, with knowledge in fabric pattern and printing artwork will be an advantage.
？ Strong product and material knowledge with good sourcing skill
？ Strong understanding of the engineering process from conceptual to product completion, including testing and user acceptant test performance
？ Able to work under pressure, excellent communication skills and detail minded
？ Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines
？ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
？ Literate in Microsoft office programs
？ Frequent travel to different location vendors is required
