Responsibility:

· This position is responsible for improving the delivery of CAD geometry in support of Exterior parts. You will have responsibility for: · Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time · Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence · Ensuring issues that cannot be resolved are escalated to Lead Engineer

· Ensuring that the PMST delivers its objectives and targets (technical and business)

· Identifying all risks to the program · Liaison and coordination of offshore CAD resource

Essential:

· Extensive experience in using CATIA V5 · Good English and design skills which must include Exterior Engineering function

· Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector

· Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements

· Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels

· PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.

· Degree in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
