Main Tasks：
-Owner of all metrology devices used for inspection steps through the process incl. e.g. microscopes, interferometers, pattern recognition systems, defect inspection system, spectrum machines.
-Owner of Metrology related internal SOP, specifications, WIs, inspection and measurement processes of optical and mechanical components and resposible for operator and technican training of respective metrology device.
-Support quality, R&D and engineering in metrology issues
-Evaluate alternative and improve existing measurement processes for glass components and finished goods
-Develop and define measurement/assembly processes for glass components and finished goods
-In charge to set-up standard qualification procedures for optical measurement instruments.
-Figure out the calibration plan (requirements) for new equipment & instrument, creat necessary calibration instruction or regulation
-Conduct internal calibration and coordinate external calibration according for key measurement instruments
-Conduct regular MSA for key measurement instruments.

Qualifications
-Master degree or higher with a major in Optics, Material Sciences, Electronics, Physics, optical insturments or equivalent along with 3-5 years experience in an optical thin film or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
-Good knowledge of optical instruments.
-Good computer programming is preferred.
-High level of written and spoken English.
-Ability to interface with internal and external customers
-Ability to interface and train production personnel
