JOB POSITION: SALES AND APPLICATION  ENGINEER

SERVO-ROBOT is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with relevant engineering experience to occupy the position of a Sales and Application Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical customer support to SERVO-ROBOT’s customers in China.

    

SERVO-ROBOT is the leading manufacturer of 3D robot-vision systems dedicated to intelligent robotic processes, in particular for welding technology and associated manufacturing processes. JOB DESCRIPTION

    

    

§  Analyzing customers’ applications and projects using the knowledge in SERVO-ROBOT’s vision products

    

§  Taking care of the customers and the inquiries, visiting customers regularly to promote the latest products

    

§  Contacting the customer through the telephone, email and visit to follow up the projects’ progress and questions answering

    

§  Giving demonstrations and training courses to customers (on-site or in the office)

    

§  Providing pre and post sales technical support to SERVO-ROBOT’s customers in China

    

§  Programming, installation and maintenance of SERVO-ROBOT’s systems at customer’s site

    

    

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

    

    

§  Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, robotic or equivalent

    

§  Knowledge of robotics, programming and computer vision an asset

    

§  Knowledge of robot languages an asset

    

§  Knowledge of welding an asset

    

§  3 years of work experience

    

§  Experience in manufacturing automation

    

§  Proficiency in both spoken and written English, other languages an asset

    

§  Excellent communication skills

    

§  Availability to travel to customers’ sites in China and abroad  

    

§  Result and customer-oriented, autonomous, persistent, eager to learn
