We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Principal responsibilities
- Managing the China team and ensuring that it collaborates with other regional teams with different cultural backgrounds working in different time zones having different expectations from the management.
-Managing career aspirations of team members in the CPS Team
-Ensuring that China team works cohesively with the other teams to achieve the desired objectives.
- Also the role requires active participation and contribution in incident investigation, service recovery management and communication with various stakeholders, and change support activities.
- Respond to any queries on using the systems and services, and regulatory requirements
- Resolve the system failures and ensure service stability.
- Sense of escalation for critical incident. Represent as service recovery manager to manage crisis call. Report to stakeholders on service impact and recovery plan. And contribute in post incident review, identify the potential risk and improvement areas
- Deputy of Regional Service Manger to manage any escalation issues, daily handovers and Morning Prayers etc.
- Develop knowledge base, system runbook etc. Improve team capacity to shorten resolution time and minimize service impact.
- Participate in various other change activities like Role swaps/DR tests, patching/evergreening activities etc.
- Be able to extend support during non-office hours and holidays.

-Knowledge and understanding of IT Infrastructure is essential
-Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems or Banking Domain is preferred
-At least 8 years' experience work in IT domain. Good knowledge of Mainframe(CICS/DB2/COBOL/MQ) or/and SQL, JAVA, Oracle and Open-systems(Websphere) skill sets are preferred. Knowledge of AppDynamics, Geneos, desirable Knowledge of Network is an advantage.
-Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change and Release Management procedure is preferable
-Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
-Strong communication skill in English with the ability to work with Global virtual team across multiple regions is a must.
-Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries.
-Ability to multi-task. Positive 'can do' attitude and self-motivated. Adaptive capacity to change
-Team leading and coaching experience is a must
