We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, or Comptroller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including supervising corporate accounting, consolidating and analyzing financial data , regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk evaluation and proving in-time solution for management to hedge this risk.

Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a Financial Controller will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills. The noteworthy Financial Controller should streamline our accounting functions and operations, provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Managing financial transactions
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances, consolidate the data collected from different entities 
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for both external & internal stakeholders
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Analyzing financial data and business performance evaluation 
• Overseeing and preparing income statements
• Evaluating and managing risk
• Coordinating audit processes
• Manage and comply with local, state, and General Accepted Accounting Principles to meet respectivereporting requirements and tax filings
• Help to develop and archive business processes and company structure to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Developing plans for financial growth

• Additional controller duties as necessary

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller ( business partner driven) 
• 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Auditing experience
• Compliance oriented
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience working for international companies. Experience working in consulting companies preferred.
