职位描述
Job description:
The role is to provide global operation support in SAP GMP managed Platform [Public Cloud] Managed Service as level 2.
Responsibility:
. Incident and service request handling from internal monitoring or external SNOW ticket system
. Problem record RCA initialization and change implementation
. Regularly Hypervisor patching to meet business demand
. Follow Major outage process to handle P1 incidents
. Projects downtime support on the weekend (addtional overtime payment)
. Coordinate with team members between China and Germany to support 7*24 globally (no night shift)
Qulification:
· Does not matter if certificate for IT profession, IT diploma or if it is a career changer
· Must have: good spoken and written English skills
· Must have: good Linux knowledge and interest in Linux administration
. Precedence：ITIL working environment, global support in multinational, cloud operation, Infrastructure experience
o Indication for Linux knowledge:
· Personal interest in Linux administration
· Has done own private projects with Linux
· Working experience with Linux
· --> either min. 2 years of working experience with Linux administration or private Linux interests/projects. Candidate needs to prove
o Must-know: What candidate needs to know about Linux
· understand the architecture of a Linux system;
· install and maintain a Linux workstation, setup it up as a network client;
· work at the Linux command line, including vi and common GNU and Unix commands;
· handle files and access permissions as well as system security;
· Know system restart and reboot details (what is done in the background)
· Basic knowledge on network services, file systems, storage, FTP, NFS, SSH etc
· Basic shell scripting knowledge
o Nice-to know (not 100% needed but good)
· Advanced Linux performance tuning and parameter knowledge
· Advanced knowledge on
§ block storage and file systems
§ networking and authentication and system security, including firewall and VPN;
§ network services, including DHCP, DNS, SSH,
§ Web servers, file servers using FTP, NFS and Samba,
§ Advanced scripting and automation knowledge
