Requirements are for the Systems Test Engineer (QA).

- Expert in software testing methodologies & practices 

- Triage problems, prioritize and report clearly 

- Create reports on progress & track issues 

- Develop automation test scripts in Bash, Python, Lua and other scripting languages

- Understand networking, operating system concepts, and terminal commands in MacOS

- Software develop/debug in C/C++/Objective C code

- Hardware debug and identifying root cause 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to drive and resolve issues

- Manage lab regression 

- Up to 25% international/domestic  travel

Description 

In this position the Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for developing automated test suites, monitoring and sustaining software solutions. 

Responsibilities will include: 

- Design test plans and define test strategies 

- Develop, build, enhance and maintain test automation system 

- Enhance and maintain build and release system 

- Modify and execute tests for validation of hardware and software features. 

- Work with software, electrical, and mechanical engineers to root cause and resolve issues. 

- Provide test reports to engineering, operations, and management
