Job Description:

• Source appropriate suppliers based on mutually identified “white spots” on supplier matrix, provide continuous market intelligence on sourcing trends and sourcing countries and identify production opportunities to maximize high/low season opportunities
• Build seasonal product development schedule in collaboration with Tokmanni Apparel Team, Supply Chain, Logistics and suppliers
• Drive seasonal collection and product development process in all aspects for Lingerie and adult’s and children’s Underwear
• Develop seasonal fabrics and trims based on brief and review and approve lab dips, handlooms, strike offs
• Update detailed tech packs and follow complete development of product from sketch to initial proto and pre-production samples and ensure all related product comments are adhered to throughout the process
• Communicate and facilitate proto sample ordering, tracking and on time delivery
• Liaise with suppliers and Buying team to ensure the costings are met and bring solutions when costing and development challenges arise
• Review supplier’s production plans against ETDs and ensure the fabrics, trims and capacities are booked and secured and the factory allocation is conducted the most optimal way
• Manage the complete approval process for all bulk materials and liaise with the Buying team accordingly
• Monitor bulk material arrival, on time manufacturing and confirmed ETDs, keep Tokmanni logistics abreast and plan solutions when discrepancies arise
• Initiate and manage 3rd party QC, FRIs and loading inspections, confirm OK or reject and find solutions with the Buying Team when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years Product Development experience in Lingerie, Underwear and Sleepwear in APAC
• Distinctive European product taste level and experience in working with the apparel business of European super-,  hypermarket or general discounter
• Degree in Apparel Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Insight into Product Management and Product Merchandising functions
• Strong product and tech pack knowledge in Lingerie, Underwear and Sleepwear, pattern making skills preferred
• Experience in working with BSCI or similar compliance systems
• Advanced CAD Drawing skills for technical/construction sketches
• Experience in large sizes appreciated
• High productivity and ability to work with market changes and tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and “can do” and “hands on” mentality
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English and Mandarin
