Job Duties

• Lead the Testing Dept.  and assign group plans independently to insure all the internal materials testing done on time
• Trace all the Materials based on company request
• Responsible for connecting with the domestic institutions, such as BCI, SAC, to handle the matters related to Social/ Environmental Sustainability
• Lead the Sustainability programs such as Sustainable Material (Organic Cotton, BCI, Recycled, etc.) and later Higg Index
• Outline the audit approach at the manufacturing plants proactively
• Provision of support to the developing  department in reviewing the evaluations and setting targets for Corrective Action Plans
• Operate directly the special inspections at suppliers premises
• In charge of the internal factory evaluation process and working with Quality Assurance department to work for the social and environmental KPIs and the CoC audit

Requirement:

• Professional textile background is preferred
• Minimum 5 – 7 years relevant working experiences in Textile industry
• Have knowledge of social and environmental audit
• Good experience and understanding in international standards, tools, initiatives related to Sustainability are required
• Specialized experiences to work for buying office or apparel manufacturer in capability of Sustainability will be an asset, working in quality auditing/ lab test firm is also welcome
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese(must be)
• Proficiency in Computer application and master the office automation tools are required
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• High level of maturity, integrity, trustworthiness
• Travel to Asian countries when necessary
