Job Description

The Power Engineer will be based in Shanghai Zhangjiang. In this position, you will perform AC-DC, DC-DC Switching Power Supply circuit design, testing and verification.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Be responsible for the Quality of the circuits: Focus on having no manufacturing complaints, no customer complaints and no changes after mass production
• Make suggestions on selection circuit platform, study and build platform for new products
• Leading design and adjust power electronics circuit according to product creation process
• Communicate with international counterpart independently
• Co-ordinate PCB design: check if right information is delivered to PCB designer and guarantee that the PCB layout is acc. to design and factory rules
• Guarantee the right product documentation in system
• Co-ordinate testing of the circuit
• Coach engineer
• Solve difficult technical issues
• Be responsible for the timing of the project

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Bachelor’s degree and above, major in Electronics, have more than 5 years’ experience in power electronic product designing or relevant circuit design
• Solid knowledge in circuit principle of switching mode power supplies, power conversion of AC/DC and DC/DC, LED lighting, battery management, Industrial, Medical application, etc.
• Good knowledge on EMC analysis, control stability and circuit protection.
• Deep knowledge of component/testing knowledge
• Solid capability to analyze circuit by simulation and building prototype.
• Good capability to write technical reports.
• Good problem solving and result driven.
• Alert and open to new product/process innovation/improvement idea
• Basic lab instrumentation and safety knowledge
• Good English oral/listen/read/write ability. Can do technical communication with foreigner fluently.
• Good self-study capability and be eager to learn new knowledge.
