SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

  

Main Objectives

  

Evaluation and development of different suppliers
High standard of working experience and know-how in terms of procedures
Support the supplier for technical and process related questions
Analysis of supplier quality figures
Close communication and cooperation with abroad colleagues
Teamwork with the purchasing buyers to achieve APO objectives  

  

Key responsibilities

  

1. Visit and support the suppliers on site.
2. Perform process audit according to TS 16949 and define improvement modifications.
3. Track the supplier development and improvement process
4. Use internal safe launch tool to monitor project process.

  

Internal and External Communication

  

External 
1. Supplier plants and meetings
2. SILA worldwide locations for project discussions
   
Internal 
1. Participate in frequent meetings and in-house workshops 

  

Basic Requirements

  

Working experience 
3-5 years experience in automotive quality assurance function  

  

Education 
Bachelor degree, major in engineer would be a plus

  

English 
good knowledge of English, both oral and written 

  

Italian 
Italian would be a plus

  

Computer 
Good skills for MS Office functions.   

  

Professional skills and abilities

  

1. Deep knowledge of concepts and terms of ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS16949:2002

2. Highly capable to perform system audit, process audit and support colleagues to increase their skill level

3. Good knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, 8D, PPAP and program management principles

4. Able to read and understand technical drawings

5. Familiarization of purchasing procedures and policies

6.  Familiarization with corporate quality regulations

7.  Self driven, self-standing definition of necessary steps

8.  Highly motivated and good communication skills

9.  International business experience
