The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing distribution channels for a newly established solution division, and drive sales through these channels and/or directly to new and existing customers. The person will be responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by helping toalign product contents/features to match customer needs. Builds and maintains relationship with all channels, and key decision makers & potential influencers at the end customer level. Responsibilities and requirements for this position include:
- Primary responsibility of developing sales channels for the newly established division on “asset tracking solutions”
- Primary responsibility of, through channels or directly, generating and closing Solution product opportunities
- Develop strategy, tactics, and sales plans for all channels and help position the solution products effectively. Lead in the creation of training and marketing materials including ROI analysis, customer testimonials, references, etc.
- Build a favorable ecosystem through partnerships with suppliers, distributors, key opinion leaders, regulatory and government agencies
- Drive revenue performance for all transactions, able to effectively manage and maintain momentum during a selling cycle
- Maximize profit potential of any transaction through
- Work with Marketing to effectively generate qualified sales leads and ensure continuous satisfactory customer experience
- Understand customer requirements and various factors influencing their needs. Able to communicate precisely to product development and marketing teams
- Up to date with Industry compliance, technologies, certifications, trends, and issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience selling technical solutions and software (SaaS) into relevant industrial verticals; Specifically Aviation, Power Generation, Rail preferred
- Understanding in supply chain management, complex work flows, and identifying customer business challenges
- Understanding of IoT and AIDC technology required
- Develops and adapts advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs; creates customer partnerships
- Experience developing and selling into MNC operating in China as well as the broader APAC region. English proficiency a must

- Languages – Proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Other languages a plus
- Motivation – You are highly interested in the latest technology and being at the forefront of Industry 4.0, cloud, and AI developments
