The Senior Accounting Manager will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with local and international accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits. He/she will manage the accounts payable function, payroll function, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
• Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades/phase-two implementation of ERP software
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
• Interacts at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual report
• Responsible for hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and has ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions
• Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud
• Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses
• Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns
• Work with Audit, Tax and Treasury Manager to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual report
• Prepare summary feedback of financial statements variances to budget
• Actively review and advise on financial/accounting processes
  

Key Skills:

• Has strong experience in using and implementing ERP accounting systems in manufacturing.
• Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 is preferred platform.
• Must have experience in company selling B2B to top international brands.
• Must have full working experiences in international manufacturing environment and have multi region experience.
• Should have strong responsibility to work in operations side of the company.
• Must be willing to work in multiple locations as needed – not just Qingpu.
• Must understand Kanban and Lean accounting principles. Must understand custom job shop, project based manufacturing. Ideally in products that are fast moving product cycles.
• Must have good English, logical and common sense.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in finance, law, finance, economics, marketing or management, with finance, finance and enterprise management knowledge, skilled in investment and financing process and special business knowledge;
• Over 10 years of financial management experience in manufacturing enterprises, rich experience in financing and accounting management;
• Familiar with national fiscal and taxation policies and relevant laws and regulations; Familiar with tax and banking procedures and business situation; Fully grasp the knowledge of bank financing, credit and investment management;
• Strong cost management, risk control and excellent financial analysis, financing and capital management ability;
• Experienced leader who is hands-on, flexible and has a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and perform multiple tasks to drive project completion on time
• Strong communication, management, team leadership, organization and coordination skills
