Core Responsibilities


Ensure month end and quarter end closing are on time and reporting requirements are carried out


· Ensure accounting and tax compliance along with audit, statutory filings and reporting


· Review all system orders booked and ensure compliance to revenue recognition policy and US GAAP


· Ensure proper SOX compliance and appropriate financial regulations and controls exist


· Support Finance Controller


Details:


· Review journal entries, AP vouchers, payment vouchers, expense claims reimbursements


· Review monthly balance sheet schedules including bank reconciliations, fixed deposit schedules, AR aging, AP aging, inventory sub-ledgers and inter-company reconciliations.


· Perform monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations and ensure all balance sheet accounts are properly substantiated


· Prepare quarterly balance sheet fluctuation during quarter-end closing


· Prepare quarterly reports such as revenue reconciliation, and revenue and cogs reconciliation


· Oversee fixed asset movements, register and count



Position Requirements




The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:




Accounting degree and CPA preferred
At least 6 years of relevant experience with audit experience and good exposure
Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
Ability to work under pressure
Be a team leader and team player
Experience with MFGPro is preferable but not required
