The role is to establish a strong support for Shanghai Entity setting up, and lead future accounting booking, group reporting, and internal control process setting up in Shanghai Entity. To make sure accounting booking and internal control is in line with both group policy and compliant with local accounting regulations. The role will also lead to create accounting team in Shanghai.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

• Ensure all accounting transactions such as Receipt Vouchers, Payment Vouchers and Journal Vouchers are accurately recorded into our accounting system

· Ensure internal control and procedures are compliant

• Responsible for online payment creation and bank reconciliation
• Supporting Hong Kong accounting team for group reporting purpose
• Ensure Tax related is compliant with local regulations
• Liaise with external auditors on yearly audit and ensure all audit tasks are properly organised
• To be an essential contributor to the set up of D365 for Finance and the eventual development of BI from ERP system
• To grow and upscale the Accounting team in China with forward thinking commercial mindset and creating a sustainable platform to facilitate rapid business development
• To play a key role as the financial think tank strategizing business structure, simulating commercial outcomes, identifying critical success factors and development blockers. Setting in motion prime options to address vital areas.
• Demonstrating expertise with vibrant team dynamics. The importance of a fitting management style towards the DM culture and characteristics. Passionate in owning the role. Be open and progressive to team members uplifting them to be better.
• Handle other ad-hoc assignments

To be our Accounting Manager for the China business, you will also possess these qualities:

• Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines along with a professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA)

• At least 7 years of relevant experience successfully leading accounting teams in international Brands
• Understanding in operations of various business channels such as Direct to Consumers (Brick & Mortar and Digital) and B2B (Distributors, Franchise and Wholesalers), Industry related logistic and pricing model knowledge would be an advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen to International Brands and experience to China finance operations
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiar with the Retail Apparel and Footwear Industry
• Prior experience in the setup of ERP and Business Analytics in D365 or other established systems would be an advantage
• Hands-on, responsible, independent, self-motivated and strong analytical skills
• Strong people management skills, initiative to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
