Job Description
Apex Fund Services is seeking to hire a junior sales professional to join its established Business Development team in Asia. To be based in Shanghai, the role is to support lead generation and the origination of high quality client relationships in a manner consistent with the businesses objectives.
The key focus of this role is to originate new business opportunities in APAC. Principally office based, candidate will serve an important role generating new interest in our services offering. The successful candidate is expected to develop an understanding of the market, our services and have experience in a business development or client facing function.
An attractive salary and commission scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
Achieve weekly lead generation targets
Originate new client engagements
Undertake market outreach programs based on strategic initiatives
Collaborate with marketing teams to manage sales campaigns
Support Senior Business Development in sales processes if required
Ensure robust knowledge of Apex’s offering and value proposition
Assist Senior Business Development with cross-sell initiatives across services lines and geographies.
Work closely with and build strong collaborative relationship with sales, marketing, client onboarding, operations and other functions
Follow internal sales and non-sales process and compliance requirements. Includes management reporting, salesforce maintenance, attendance at internal meetings, assistance with onboarding as required, ensure agreed project deliverables are met, and
Any other tasks as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
2+ year’s relevant experience in a client facing function
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Strong self-confidence, ability to contribute to discussion with target clients
- Highly organized, ability to manage multiple projects
Possess a strong work ethic, as well as uncompromising integrity
Experience with CRM systems preferred
