JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Participate and help develop lab safety policies;

?Follow work rules and procedures established for the lab, SOP or SMP;

?Follow and understand safe operation of color match equipment and perform minor mechanical maintenance;

?Possess a complete knowledge of gamut colorants, their curves and how to properly use them;

?Possess a complete knowledge of how best to use the available tools to successfully complete a color match in the minimum amount of time;

?Develop formulas which are properly optimized for cost, metamerism, UV stability, thermal stability and color adjustability;

?Proficiently use all computer systems related to the color match process;

?Ensure formulas are compliant with all regulatory and product design colorant and loading restrictions;

?Formulate and adjust color formulations visually when formulation software proves ineffective;

?Operate lab equipment such as extruder, molding machine and spectrophotometer etc. to complete scheduled production and testing tasks, and maintain assigned lab equipment when necessary;

?Participate actively in team problem solving and continuous improvement activities;

?Exercise personal judgment to adjust colors to satisfy color match requirements Critical to Quality (CTQs);

?Render visual and instrumental judgment on completed color matches to ensure match quality satisfies customer expectations.

Requirements

~At least 3 years lab/manufacturing working experiences in paint / ink / plastic related industry

~Adapt to shift working when necessary

~Team spirit, excellent team player with proved inclusiveness and engagement

~Basic English reading & writing and MS Office skills
