Provides expert technical support to Sales and interface with customers as required in order to meet their technology and approval needs.  This is a fully competent individual with regular customer interface and project management duties. Including:

    

1. In consultation with Sales/Business, organize and execute plans for approval testing to meet the customer’s needs and wants.
2. Organize data derived from the approval program and assemble all appropriate information in an easily understood manner.
3. Prepare written reports and technical literature for use by the customer and by Sales.  Make oral presentations internally and externally, as necessary.
4. Maintain productive relationships with team members and both internal and external customers and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Italmatch’s technology, customer needs, market trends, and industry direction.
5. Takes personal responsibility for a safe working environment in office and laboratory.  Knows, understands and consistently adheres to established safety policy and procedures.  Maintains up-to-date knowledge of changes or additions to safety procedures and assist in safety training activities as required.
6. Resolve customer complaints and problems in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:      

    

?      BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field

    

?      Minimum 5 years relevant CTS work experience

    

?      Equivalent combination of education and experience

    

    

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    

?      Advanced degree in relevant field

    

    

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    

?       Demonstrates ability to complete assignments independently and in a highly proficient manner.

    

?       Demonstrates the ability to make effective decisions based on knowledge and expertise gained through experience in CTS.

    

?      Demonstrates the ability to handle complex programs and customer problems independently advising supervisor of plans

    

?      Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

    

?      Demonstrated creativity and innovation in development of customer programs

    

?      Demonstrates effective negotiation and facilitation skills

    

?      Demonstrates knowledge of basic chemistry and of Italmatch product chemistry

    

?      Demonstrates familiarity with laboratory practices and procedures

    

?      Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills

    

?      Demonstrates knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis

    

?      Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge in assigned area; able to handle alliance customers

    

?      Demonstrates the ability to develop and deliver effective customer presentations

    

?      Demonstrates a customer service orientation to assignments

    

?      Demonstrates initiative in managing customer programs

    

?       Demonstrates computer literacy with regards to ltalmatch’s routine applications including graphics software

    

?      Able to tolerate multiple work interruptions and to maintain focus on details

    

?      Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers

    

?      Able to organize and prioritize work effectively
