Responsibilities:
- Lead Product Line Cell Design and Manufacturing Process Setup
Based on customer demand takt time and product engineering specifications, lead the team to design production cell including layouts, material flow, tools, testers, machines and fixtures to meet safety, quality and productivity requirements
Lead the team to establish production line FMEA and SOP to ensure safety and quality are key considerations in the manufacturing process
- Establish training and certification process for production line operators
- Provide Production Sustainability
Lead the team to analyze and solve production-related and quality problems to ensure on-time delivery of customers’ orders
- Lead the team to establish Total Production Maintenance guidelines to drive productivity and improve operational cost
- Drive Manufacturing Process Best Cost and Efficiency
Lead continuous improvement projects on productivity and quality using Lean tools to drive best cost and efficiency .
Establish short and long term strategic plan to drive manufacturing process improvement to be best-in-class
- Technical support
Collaborate with other departments to achieve cross functional goals with manufacturing technical support
Training manual elaboration as well as training the engineer and operators
Direct manufacture engineer daily work and coach them to improve capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Automation industries
- 8 years working experience preferably in a matrix reporting structure within a reputable MNC
- 5 years’ management experience, lean expertise is preferred.
- Good spoken and written English skill.
- Self-motivated, teamwork spirit and can-do attitude
