职位描述

Key responsibilities

The Intel & Advice – Account Manager is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

  • Building and executing a retention and new business development strategy for a given customer segment, ensuring high levels of customer retention and revenue growth ?
  • Maintain and develop wide ranging relationships within your assigned customer base (Business Units & Support Units) ?
  • Identifying and engaging with new prospects within this remit to gain understanding of their specific challenges (new business from net new client prospects) ?
  • Working closely with an assigned set of existing customers to ensure ROI and subsequent continuation of services?
  • Achieving revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound inquiries and self-generate leads based on a deep market and product understanding?
  • Accurately positioning Omdia’s and Informa Tech’s services as a solution for market challenges?
  • Promote the value and use of the products and services both internally and externally?
  • Reporting accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities?
  • Work with the wider Omdia analyst and consulting teams to ensure that clients are delighted with the service they receive ?
  • Work collaboratively with Informa tech’s dedicated TMT media and events team to promote the organization’s wider capabilities and solutions across the event and media portfolio. ?
  • Attending key Informa and industry relevant competitor events ?


Key stakeholders (Interacts with)

  • New prospects, existing customers?
  • Range of internal and external stakeholders including Omdia analysts, colleagues regionally and globally, Consulting teams, Media & Events teams. ?
  • Regular weekly contact with buying influences & decision makers across the customer base

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge

  • Proven industry experience within a consultative B2B environment. ?
  • Demonstrable experience/track record as a top performing individual contributor in a solution based B2B environment.
  • Being a team player within a sales team beyond individual’s needs. ?
  • Has an established network of clients in one or more sectors and proven track record in new business.
  • Can identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential. ?
  • A working knowledge of the TMT marketplace and the business models within it.
