Certification Engineer

Location : Zhuanqiao, Shanghai – CHINA

ALTYOR Industries (Shanghai), an ALTYOR Group’s subsidiary, is a French industrial company specialized in the contract design & manufacturing of multi-technology products, mainly in IoT (various areas: safety, health, music, home automation ...) for European/US market.

Job responsibilities :

Major actor of the New Product Introduction team, the Certification Engineer focuses on the preparation of all the technical files of electrical and/or electronic products for the necessary standards, European and/or international directives.

The main missions are:

• Analyze customer specifications and communicate with supplier to make sure all requirements have been taken into account

• Conduct a feasibility review with laboratories

• Follow-up and review product certification quotation with Purchasing Department

• Pre-test product before certification

• Assist the Laboratory for product testing on site

• Follow up certification process and deliverables (reports, certificates, …)

  Profile :

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Electronics / Measurement Engineering mandatory

• Experience in ESD, EMC, RF, LVD testing

• Knowledge of international certifications and standards for consumer electronics products

• Familiar with electronic basic test equipment (oscilloscope, signal analyzer, UART communication, …)

• Mandatory 2 years’ experience in a similar position

• Language level mandatory: Fluent in English

• Accrued proactivity, organization, team-spirit skills & customer oriented
