IDC specialises in China’s fast-growing healthcare sector, creating healthcare products and regulated medical devices for domestic and international markets. We are looking for a Senior Electronics/Software Engineer to lead the technical delivery of new electronics systems for the innovative products.

AT IDC you will be able to develop your technical, business and engineering skills with our broad and fast-moving projects. With the diversity of our work, you will enjoy being constantly exposed to new challenges, techniques and technologies during the development stages. With the growth of our Electronics Engineering department, this role has considerable room for future growth.

You will join a multinational, multidisciplined team working for global clients to create meaningful products that can change lives. You will be required to apply creativity, rigour, and commitment to problem-solving to create outstanding products and user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Circuit design and PCB layout in Altium
• Writing of embedded code in C, C++, C# or Python
• Testing and commissioning of prototypes
• Technical leadership of electronics and software project delivery
• Client liaison to ensure the smooth running of projects and promoting IDC as a trusted client partner
• Supporting new business colleagues in developing new project opportunities
• Conducting software and electronic hardware risk analysis
• Verification test and report

Requirements

• An excellent degree or PhD in electrical, electronic or information engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a broad range of electronics design (including hardware and software) with considerable practical design and development experience
• Experience in circuit simulation tools such as LTspice, Pspice
• Expert at bring-up, debug, validation and optimization of systems
• Design for EMC
• Experience in software development life cycle documentation
• Knowledge of different processor technologies such as: ARM, Soc
• Self motivated and able to tackle new problems
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience in medical devices would be an advantage although not essential
