The company is an international premium supplier of packaging services, and related services with approximately 4,000 employees at 77 locations worldwide. China, which is mainly engaged in the packaging of industrial and export goods as well as in the production of wood packaging for export

Position: Manager Operations China, SUZHOU

Reporting directly to General Management

Responsibilities:

l You will be responsible for a team of 10 people onsite at Suzhou and 11 people working off-site at customer premises.

l You will follow up the time mgmt. and production schedules of all teams

l You will look at continuous optimization and total costs management

l Besides production , you will be involved in the sourcing and procurement activities – benchmarking suppliers

l Provide technical input in order to support the cost calculation

Requirements:

l The right candidate should have had exposure in an Industrial production environment, experience with Packaging service industry and / or Logistics / warehouse / supply chain industry is highly preferred.

l You have several years of successful industry-related or industrial operations

l You have a proven track record for dealing with workshop personnel, suppliers and customers.

l The right candidate should preferably be have spoken and reading skills in both Mandarin and English
