Danish Crown Group is a global meat processing company and a major leader within the global food business. The company is the world’s largest pork exporter and the largest pork producer in Europe, producing 8.2 % of the total EU pork. Danish Crown was originally founded in 1887 owned by 7100 pig and cattle suppliers from Denmark, Sweden, UK and other European countries.

It has 24 slaughterhouses located in 5 European countries. With a total integrated value chain from farm to end user, Danish Crown Group slaughtered 23 million pigs, 0.7 million cattle and processed 995,000 tons of meat into high quality end products in 2017/2018.
