Areas of responsibility:

· Inside technical product support for sales, marketing and business development (may include customer technical support depending on the candidate).

· Fixture thermal testing and debug creating results for customer support managed personally or through and with the Engineering and DQE departments. Following such testing make sure the data is properly captured and properly documented in the specification and the datasheet.

· Over time develop the knowledge required to read and understand safety certification requirements and relate those to LED driver product feature requirements.

· Monitor RMAs received and RMA reports generated by Quality such that the resultant conclusions are managed properly with the end customer. Make sure that resultant corrective actions are implemented within the product where warranted.

· ECN sign-offs for form, fit, and functional changes to the products being phased in at the factory engineering level.

· Document Control at the product level, including SVN content management to reflect prior and current revision history. Make sure that SVN contains all documents related to the product in an organized manner.

· Product configuration management. (s.a. product label compliance) Make sure SVN matches actual label being manufactured. Research and understand the required regulatory logos applicable to each product series and ensure that those logos are present on the product label.

· Responsible for product derivative attributes s.a. SKU #, label design, dimming profiles, and specification follow through.

· Document and locate received customer fixtures & LED loads for use and storage as it relates to each product.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum requirements for this position:

· BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology, (emphasis & experience in power electronics is ideal)

· 5 or more years of work experience in power electronics or lighting in a sales, technical, or business role

· Experience or a strong interest in lighting and/or LED lighting solutions and components (familiarity with TRIAC, ELV, & 0 - 10V dimming systems)

· High proficiency with Microsoft Office Products s.a. Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
