JOB TITLE

    

Project Quality Engineer

     

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

 

1)            In charge of the quality aspects of the new product development projects  

    

a)            Audit, qualify and improve supplier quality system.

    

      b)            Work with project team and suppliers to verify parts or finished products (metrology, performance etc.)  during product development phase.

    

c)            Develop and approve quality plan, pre-shipment inspection protocol with supplier.

    

d)            Support team in problem solving during project development process.

    

       f)             Authorize supplier’s mass production by collecting, analyzing & reviewing products and quality reports before authorization.

    

g)            Pre-Inspection of initial product batches

       

2)            Manage or participate in product and process change projects

    

3)            Manage quality improvement projects by applying systematic problem solving methodologies

    

4)            Participate in the supplier performance reviews

    

5)            Analyze products received from customers or consumer complaints.

    

QUALIFICATIONS

1)            Fluent English and be able to organize meetings with global cross functional team and suppliers in Asia in English.  

2)            Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering- mechanical engineering, plastic injection engineering etc.   

3)            At least 3 years working experience in manufacturing or sourcing office in quality field, candidate with PMP certificate or experience in new product development field is preferred.    

4)            Detail attention, logical thinking, time-oriented with adequate courage to handle difficult situation and work under pressure.  

5)            Strong quality knowledge and skills in ISO9000 system, 8D, D/PFMEA, quality plan development, quality system audit is required.   

6)            Proficient in computer skills (word, excel, PPT etc.)  

7)            Well trained in basic management (planning, communication, leadership, control etc.) with good communication and presentation skills

• Willing to travel around Asia.
