IT Project Leader (w/d/m)

Location: Beijing

Reporting line: Headquarter in Germany

ABOUT THIS JOB:

• Project coordination with the after-sales and IT departments of customer (Daimler Greater China)
• Responsible for the operation of applications in cloud infrastructures
• Leading a team of two additional project members in China (Operations & IT Support)
• Coordination of the international software vendors and service providers
• Responsible for the support of Mercedes-Benz dealers in the Chinese market
• Technical management of cloud requirements, conceptual design, release management and deployment of cloud applications
• Operations and development of new learning platform in China

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

• University degree or above in information technology, computer science or similar qualification
• Min. 3+ years work experience in management of IT projects
• Experience in the field of cloud computing and management of large platforms
• Knowledge of cloud container technology
• Good knowledge of network technologies and IT security
• Knowledge in DevOps tool chains and processes
• Profound Linux and scripting skills
• Good database and SQL knowledge

YOUR PERSONAL COMPETENCE:

• Project management experience
• Self-responsible working attitude and initiative
• Ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Analytical thinking and cross-functional communication skills as well as intercultural competence
• Clear communication skills in Chinese (native speaker) with fluent English language skills, additional knowledge of German is an advantage
