Analyzes new scenarios and quantifies the performance with end-to-end scope for management decisions working closely together with adjacent functions. 

Carries out a comprehensive review of the Planning function and its methodology and identify and implement improvements.  

Inventory management. Making sure the inventory health is following the company’s guidelines, meeting the targets and positively impacts the Ossur supply chain KPI’s (see M&O strategy).  

Creates the baseline demand forecast: Uses all relevant inputs (ie Statistical Forecasts, historical sales,.) and prepare a 12 months baseline forecast. This to be enriched on relevant input from Marketing and Sales (ie: distribution changes, competition, pricing impact, market intelligence...) 

Leads demand planning meeting: With fact-based analysis and assumptions underpinning the demand forecast, lead planning meeting by category/channel for the S&OP meeting to allow decision taking on the final consensus plan, highlighting issues like excess stock, constraints etc. 

Analyzes operational planning performance of sales vs plan. Defines root causes/corrective actions collaborating with other functions as input for next planning cycles. 

Schedules and arranges transportation for intercompany deliveries 

Handling imports&exports procedures

Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in the areas of purchasing, (demand& supply) planning and inventory management. 

Relevant Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or equivalent 

Solid knowledge of a variety operations activities including purchasing, quality standards of materials and document control. 

Experience with ERP/MRP, Lean, Navision, OLAB cubes, Access or similar 

Excellent computer skills, Excel preferred

5 years’ work experience with computerized ERP/ Planning system strongly preferred. 

Comprehensive know-how about sales processes 

Management and coordination of Purchasing/ Planning activities, tendering, RFQ and with relation to Cost, Delivery and Quality performance  

Experience with master data maintenance 

Fluent in English language.
