Reports to: Executive Vice President, Beijing International Relations

Purpose:

The Institutional stakeholders Affairs Researcher will be responsible for providing essential research and analysis to the EVP Beijing International Relations.

Learning opportunities will include: learning about the political processes at the National and Local Institutions, international energy market, the impact of global energy markets and impact on national and international policy and global energy dynamics.

Detailed responsibilities:

General

？ Research and analyze policy issues, track legislation, and provide written summaries

？ Monitor congressional activities and policies developments on relevant issues

？ Review and analyze bill mark-ups

Main Interfaces

？ Interact with other internal ENI government affairs

？ Interact with other ENI locations, such as Shanghai, Rome, Milan…

Required competencies

？ Strong understanding of the Chinese institutions, Chinese stakeholders map, central and local legislative process

？ Knowledge of national and international energy affairs

？ Awareness of national and local political climate

？ Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and fact checking information for internal and external audience

？ Strong research and analytical abilities

Working conditions

？ Health, Safety & Environmental Risk Category: Low

Required competencies:

？ BS in Business Administration, Politics or International Relationships preferred

？ 2 to 5 years previous experience in similar role of Governmental Bodies or International companies

？ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese

？ Working knowledge of Microsoft Suites, excellent use of PPT
