Job Description
  • Active observation and analysis of market and competition as well as networking on trade fairs, association and customer events.
  • Active sales of our product portfolios of advanced ceramics
  • Acquisition new customers via regular visits, trade fair contacts
  • (together with team) preparation and execution of trade fairs and other product promoting events?
  • Key contact person for technical clarification and commercial topics for our customers
  • Coordination of internal and external sales-communications
  • Support engineering team to develop tailor-made technical solutions for customers
  • Active contribution in customer projects and application activities
  • Control of sales activities: customer analysis, quoting, price- and contract negotiation, running documentation and monitoring of turnover targets
  • Supporting strategic further development of the product portfolios in coloration with regional management and product development in Germany

Qualifications
  • Master or above in chemistry, material science and engineering, production technology or similar subjects. Education in ceramic materials preferred.
  • 3 years professional experience as sales or application engineer in advanced ceramics. Experiences with customers in optics, sensors and semiconductor industry are preferred.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes of advanced ceramics would be a plus
  • Customer and results orientated working
  • Working on own initiative, with start-up spirit (agile and flexible, pioneering, passion and perseverance…), high readiness for traveling
  • Confident and authentic appearance, open and strong communication personality, high negotiation and persuading skills
  • Fluent English skills in written and spoken
