Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities (5):

1. Development of new products based on the needs of the market

2. Upgrading of existing products

3. Quality and stability examination for the proposed products

4. Co-ordination with R&A for the testing the products in application

5. Sourcing and evaluation of raw materials

6. Co-ordination with manufacturing for adaptation of developed products to mass production.

7. Communication with sales department in order to eliminate the problems occurred at the customers.

8. Co-ordinate and liaise with various departments in pursuance of company's functions and policies.

9. Define R&D programs and set priorities according to organization strategic goals.

10. Ensure safety in R&D

11. Ensure proper documentation of development process/results according to TFL standards in R&D

12. Managing the productions for introductory products.

Education/Qualifications:        -

-          Bachelor/College or equivalent education background in polymer chemistry

Minimum Requirements: 

-          Fluent written and oral English language

-          Experience in research in polymers for coating

Desired Requirements:

-          Experience in coating chemicals for flexible materials

Experience, Skills, Knowledge:

-       3 years experience in coating materials

-       5 years' experience in development of polymers

-       Experience in coating of flexible material is an advantage

-       Experience in synthetic leather is an advantage

-       Experience in polyurethanes is an advantage
