Flavour Marketing Category Manager– Beverage

Missions:

You always aim to exceed customer needs, think beyond to predict the next market theme, deliver value to our customers, their brands, and their products.   

• Work closely with different functional teams on marketing projects for assigned customers to build up excellent marketing relationship and achieve the commercial goals
• Identify new opportunities for beverage customers and proactively develop new ideation based on deep understanding of the market dynamic and assigned customers’ brands and products, ensuring that our products, technology, and concepts demonstrate value to our customers, their brands, and their products
• Create and deliver key/strategic client presentations & innovative stories (with strong reason to believe) in partnership with sales to support flavor solutions selling, tailoring MANE value proposition to specific client & market needs. 
• Work with and also support global marketing network teams on various marketing requests
• Lead the execution of annual marketing action plan for assigned category with cross function teams and push for the results
• Develop and implement medium-long term marketing strategic plan to help drive the beverage flavours business

  

• Monitor the category activities, latest product launches. Build in-depth market and consumer understanding for assigned product categories. Monitor and anticipate the regional and global trends conceptually and in terms of flavors.

 Qualification:

 5 years+ proven record of marketing position in Flavors or related industry (FMCG company or experience as a strategic planner or consultant in an advertising agency)

• Excellent marketing knowledge of beverage category for China/APAC market

• Analytical imagination (creative and logic balance) , open-minded, capability to capture the ever changing trends of the society and the consumers, and new opportunities, and translate them into relevant concepts.

• Dynamic and high energy team player to collaborate with a global team 

• Excellent communication, presentation, multi-task handling, interpersonal and problem solving skills, strong willing to accept new challenges

• Master of power points, skill of graphic design with aesthetic sense is a strong plus (Photoshop, Graphics Editing, Video Editing)

• Proficient in both spoken and written English

• Bachelor degree or above, in a relevant field, e.g. marketing, food science          

• Global experience will be an added advantage
