1 - Coordinate innovation and technical expertise in the field of activity

- Facilitate creativity initiatives to propose innovative solutions

- Promote the innovations in the position's scope within BUs and with customers

- Participate in and support the Group's representation at Techdays
- 参与并支持集团在Techdays的代表
- Deploy the necessary expertise within Engineering at product level to meet the requirements of internal/external customers

- Establish and monitor innovation programs in line with short and medium-term deadlines, in accordance with our product strategy and customer requests

- Define a clear roadmap for innovation actions in line with our products and processes and share it with our internal and external customers.

- Analyze customer technical files and perform engineering budget costing for RFQs

- Approve RFQ product design in line with the specifications of our external/internal customers and our processes

- Implement a design-to-cost process from the RFQ stage.

3 - Manage the activity

- Based on the objectives of the activity concerned, prepare action plans and coordinate the missions of the team in a coherent manner
- 根据有关活动的目标,制定行动计划并以连贯的方式协调团队的任务
- Propose an annual operating budget for the activity, and ensure that it is adhered to
- 为活动提出年度运营预算,并确保遵守该活动
- Propose the necessary resources for attaining objectives and implement the necessary actions for staff movement (recruitment, transfers, dismissal/redundancy) and investments according to budgetary forecasts and labor constraints

- Monitor performance indicators for the activity, implement corrective actions if necessary and inform the teams of them

- Conduct annual appraisal interviews, set the objectives for employees

- Develop the staff’s skills for the activity and propose individual and/or group training actions that are necessary to maintain activity performance levels

- Advise employees on professional development and promote internal mobility

- Propose salary increases in agreement with the Functional Manager within the framework of the Group’s salary policy

- Ensure that the teams remain motivated and that there is a good internal atmosphere

- Check and approve team members’ expense claims (travel, etc.) and authorizations for absence/holidays

- Ensure that job descriptions are updated according to Group procedures
