Job Description:

    

The role of Product Inspection Coordinator is in some way, one of the main roles in the SH Quality team as they have a great task of inputting all product information in the system and liaise suppliers and buyers to facilitate the inspection and drive the impovement of quality performance. The candidate will need to have both high computer skills and a detail oriented eye when looking at products to support Quality Inspectors and Management. The success of the team is very much based on the efficient and detailed work done in this role.

    

    

Responsibilities:

  1. Input data into processing software including: product item information, product photos, supplier information, factory information
  2. Make bookings for product inspections to support Product Inspectors and management.
  3. Create and manage schedule for Product Inspector for items based on the software.
  4. Emailing suppliers for information (factory info, product production dates, etc). Follow up with calls to suppliers if any issue
  5. Coordinate with Quality Dept in Copenhagen by email and Skype calls (this cooperation would probably start August/September as the Quality Dept)
  6. Assist Product Inspectors and management in receiving, reviewing, and organizing samples
  7. Maintain sample library. Distinguish old samples and work with office Administrative Assistant to send old items to charity.
  8. Provide support for Quality Inspectors and Management, as required.

                                    

    

Qualification:

  1. Fluent to high intermediate level of English language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing). Taking an English language proficiency test is not required, but considered (TEOFL, IELTS)
  2. Chinese language (mother tongue)
  3. Previous experience as an administrative assistant OR buyer OR an input data role which required high amount of multitasking.
  4. Computer/tech saavy to learn new software programs and any apps that would be efficient for office staff (ex: Wechat, Skype..)
  5. Mandatory proficiency in Outlook email system and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  6. General knowledge of office equipment including computers, printers, projector or ClickShare system, internet router, VPN network
  7. Good eye for products and details on products.
  8. Fantastic time management skills and able to prioritize work. Ability to multitask and keep extremely organized.
  9. Problem solving a must
  10. Bachelor's degree

                                            

    

Not required, but highly valued:

  1. Previous experience working at a foreign company or buying office
  2. Experience living abroad (preferably Europe)
  3. Interest in foreign cultures
  4. Interest in design
