Job Purpose

To ensure that all mechanical work is completed safely and meets our required standards of maintenance.   

Required Duties Or Accountabilities

1.         Work closely with operation team and contractor to complete preventative maintenance plan and day to day troubleshooting to keep plant running stable.

2.         Review all mechanical specification sheets and engineering drawings provided by engineering firms.

3.         Assist Maintenance Engineers in the design, preparation of the mechanical part of engineering documents.

4.         Participant in the procurement of mechanical equipment, visiting   equipment manufacturers.

5.         Follow construction of plant improvement projects.

6.         Minimize production downtime by overseeing all mechanical maintenance activities.

7.         Take a lead role in problem solving mechanical issues and recommending improvements to the Maintenance Engineers.

8.         Develop and deliver mechanical training packages for SLIC employees and contract Staff.

9.         Audit the performance of the contractors providing mechanical support to SLIC.

10.       To build up good relationship and work closely with contractor.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical major.

At least 2 years experiences on a chemical plant
