JOB PURPOSE

We are currently looking for an outstanding SME Accounts Manager based in Shanghai to join our Maritime & Law Sales team and grow our Greater China business.

The SME Accounts Manager will execute against sales goals with respect to forecasting and revenue attainment. This generally includes managing a renewable account base, qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, learning customer decision/making process, creating and maintaining accurate forecasts, negotiating contracts, closing business in a timely manner, and fully comprehending our Maritime Intelligence unique value proposition.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?    Accountability for driving revenue growth across the vertical to meet or exceed expectations, including identification of revenue drivers and metrics to focus on increasing account volume, profit and penetration

?    Monitoring performance-to-plan throughout the financial year and adjusting direction, focus and sales initiatives as needed to deliver volume commitments

?    Providing forecasting within a 95% accuracy rate to create visibility with all market owners on revenue trends and actions to drive revenues to plan

?    Understanding the solution sales cycle and challenges, including the strategies of competitors, and leveraging this knowledge to hone sales strategies

?    Working with Product Management to use customer feedback and analytical insights in the formation of new products/solutions

?    Giving the highest priority to customer satisfaction by maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with and listening to customers

?    Responding to Customer survey results to ensure customer satisfaction

?    Contribute effectively to a highly driven, yet collaborative and cohesive team dynamic

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

?   A minimum of 3 years sales experience with demonstrable ability to extend and add to existing revenue streams within a defined account base within the Maritime sector/ Financial Services sector 

?    Additional experience within either Finance, Trade Finance, Shipping or Governmental sectors would be ideal

?    Must be flexible with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all colleagues

?    Candidate will need to be self-starter, with the ability to develop a business plan

?    Powerful written and verbal communication skills, in both Mandarin and English for internal communications

?    Strong relationship building skills

?    Highly self-motivated, competitive and results driven

?    Passionate, positive and enthusiastic

?    Advanced level of spoken and written Chinese and English.
