Reporting line :

-          Asia Category Manager – Beauty Care

 

Key deliverables :

-          To lead fragrance development for KIA in beauty care, aiming to win projects in Asia and abroad

 

Core responsibilities :

• To develop consumer knowledge and olfactive vision
• To answer assigned briefs for KIA with first in class fragrance development
• To present and create positive winning dynamics with clients
• To dynamically animate proactive programs
• To create and maintain a collection that anticipate KIA needs
• To lead projects with clear guidelines, retro-planning, follow up and efficient communication towards perfumers
• To orchestrate the creative process and leverage resources and capabilities
• To promote synergies among creation teams in ASIA aiming to share knowledge and level up the regional expertise in beauty
• To work closely with the Asia category manager to define the Chinese fragrance strategy
• To work hand in hand with regional and global evaluation teams to build themes with regional and global potential
• Liaise with technical teams to provide technical support to sales and clients whenever required

 

Skills & Competencies

v  Passionate in fragrance, sensitive to Fine Fragrances and Beauty trends, eager to decode trend setter markets such as Korea & Japan

v  Excellent knowledge in Chinese hair and skin care markets

v  High olfactive capabilities, hard-working, meticulous and detail oriented

v  Able to work under pressure and achieve goals in specified time

v  Creative and with an open-mind set to push olfacive boundaries

v  Consumer testing understanding (tests results, FGD…)

v  Leadership skills : Dynamism and creativity, with good sense of organization and rigueur

v  Communication skills : Fluent in English, Good team player, Presentation to clients

 

Qualifications (education/experience)

v  Major in Chemistry, Cosmetic & Fragrance or related discipline

v  5 years of experience in beauty care creation and evaluation

v  Experience in an international environment is a must
