JOB DESCRIPTION

The Associate Account Director (AAD) reports into and works closely with the Group Account Director (GAD) to navigate the boutiques and how they build from the strength of the megabrand; and execute projects with excellence. The AAD is the everyday interface between Saatchi and the Clients brand team in GZ. She/he must bring in expertise on the local China market and be able to develop quickly a deep understanding of the consumers.

The AAD will be responsible for leading the development of all aspects of the marketing mix for all lead markets including public relations, digital, in-store, media and context planning as well as all advertising. They will, working with the clients, establish brand strategy and develop holistic ideas that can be deployed across all marketing elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

? Be the primary contact with the client.

? Partner with the client to determine needs and advise clients on brand and marketing strategy

? Keeper of brand equity, agency reputation and credibility

? Work closely with planning team on all Xploring research – objectives, stimuli etc.

? Leads creative briefings and reviews

? A leading role in the review and evaluation of the quality of the Agency’s product for all major creatives, strategies at the critical stages of their development, presentation and implementation.

? Assign team priorities and manage resources as team coach

? Source of knowledge on all aspects of client’s business.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

? Bachelor degree, major in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration is preferred

? 5+ years of relevant experiences

? Proven Account Management skills

? Detail oriented but can see, and analyze the big picture

? Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

? Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to convince and influence other effectively

? Able to priorities, communicate and motivate a team accordingly

? Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well

? Good command of English
