职位描述


    

  • Develop and pursue new opportunities in electronics with existing and new customers
  •   
  • Customers include:
  •   


    • Global and local OEM’s as well as related Tier 1/2 electronics system suppliers
    • Non-traditional automotive players which are entering automotive sectors
    • Electronics EMS suppliers or players in related field

       

    • Work closely with cross functional team, including but not limited to engineering, program management, product line management, finance, operations to analyze potential opportunities, define pursue activities and required action for execution to secure business awards.

      

    • Lead and manage China related opportunities for Electronics, act as a central point to initiate and manage activities to drive business growth

    • Initiate, establish, build and enhance relationship with customers, understanding the organizational structure of customers, key decision makers and decision-making process; lead and drive activities to establish various level of cooperation relationship matching the opportunity levels.

    • Lead activities to receive RFQ’s from customers and all activities for RFQ response to secure business award

    • Work with related functional team to drive the development of necessary sales tools and trainings i.e. product catalog, marketing flyers, online and offline training, competitor fighting guide, product value proposition, etc.

    • Define focused customers and activities to expedite business growth, i.e. Technical Workshop, market trend workshop, new technology workshop, management engagement, etc.

    • Actively communicate any new market potential and customer requirements to related team members, i.e. engineering, product line management, product marketing, to identify potential new interests/trends from customers

                  

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Electrical Engineering degree or training highly preferred
    • 5+ years of automotive experience in engineering/program management/business development/ sales (experience in automotive body electronics applications a plus)

      

    • Experience and basic technical knowledge to acquire understanding of automotive electronics architecture and related application knowledge required

    • Familiar with Chinese automotive market and customer behavior, understanding of OEM and Tier supply chain new business development process

    • Self-driven and high motivation to succeed

    • Native Chinese speaker, and fluency in written and oral English communication required

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Must be technically and socially fluent in English and customer’s native language as a minimum. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English and customer’s native language. Must be able to write reports and conduct business correspondences in Chinese and English. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, in both English and native language.

      

      

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

      

    Ability to work with complex mechanical and electrical and mathematical concepts, as well as the ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, probability and statistics to practical solutions.

      

      

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
