Be responsible for electrical design of product development and manufacturing support of electronic/hardware related sections. It includes but not limited to spec. response, detailed schematic design, documentation, DVT, trouble shooting, RMA and manufacture support.  Work on products development for micro-optics module, EDFA amplifier modules, Line Cards and test card etc.

Job Description:

1) Work on New Product 

A)   Electrical design throughout whole process, including feasibility study, schematic develop, simulation for key parts, BOM create and maintaining in Agile system, and final verification test.

B)   Working with operation team to develop functional test for manufacture.

C)   Technical support for customer enquiries.

D)   New product budget estimates and planning.

2) Sustaining/Operations Support

A) Provides technical support for manufacturing

B) Engineering Order and Engineering Change Order including BOM submit as require

C) RMA investigations and implementation of corrective actions

3) Team Build and Others

A)  Contribute to improve work efficiency;

B)  Innovation. Actively take part in developing new technology and new platform;

Experiences/Special Skills:

· 5+ years board/system level hardware design experience in telecom or embedded industry

· Proficient in analog and mixed circuit design and trouble shooting.

· Deep understanding on circuit fundamentals.

· Familiar with HW circuit design software, such as Orcad and Cadence Allegro

· Deep understanding of hardware design and engineering process (PCB and PCBA) and quality control is required

· Actual experience problem resolving, requires originality and ingenuity using knowledge gained in field
